2023年6月3日,河南省交通规划设计研究院邀请到美国注册建筑师, 美国绿色建筑认证LEED专家、美国建筑师协会委员、KPF建筑事务所纽约总部BIM项目领头人张亚菲女士,开展 “BIM技术助力公共交通导向型设计(TOD)及老城区改造”的专题讲座及技术交流会。
on June 3rd, 2023, Henan Communications Planning & Design Institute co., LTD (HNRBI) has extended an invitation to Ms. Yafei Zhang, a Registered Architect in the United States and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Ms. Yafei Zhang is also a LEED Accredited Professional with expertise in Building Design + Construction. Currently serving as the BIM Team Leader at Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF), she will be delivering a lecture on “BIM Technology assists Transit-oriented Development (TOD) and Urban Renewal".

Yutao Cao, Deputy Chief Engineer of HNRBI, and Technical Director of the Architectural Planning and Design Institute, along with over a hundred design professionals, actively participated in the event. Including young scholars from some well-known domestic design units and experts from well-known software manufacturers participating online.During the opening speech, Mr. Cao extended a warm welcome to Ms. Yafei Zhang on behalf of HNRBI, expressing gratitude for her remarkable contributions to the architectural design industry.
张亚菲女士也对KPF事务所进行简单介绍,KPF是全球顶级的建筑事务所,在全世界范围内设计了超过200座已建成的高层和超高层建筑,包括深圳平安金融中心、中信大厦(中国尊)、纽约30号哈德逊广场等标志性建筑。
Ms. Yafei Zhang also provided a concise overview of KPF, a globally renowned architectural firm. Recognized as a leader in the field, KPF has successfully crafted over 200 super high-rise buildings worldwide. Among its portfolio are iconic landmarks such as the Shenzhen Ping An Financial Center, CITIC Tower (China Zun), New York’s 30 Hudson Yards. And numerous other notable buildings.
在讲座中,张亚菲女士以30号哈德逊广场为例,详细介绍TOD理念在规划设计老城区改造的实践,该项目是曼哈顿城市复兴和旧城更新的典范设计。同时结合武汉复兴艺术中心的案例,阐述了BIM技术在非传统形态建筑设计应用,论证了深入推广BIM技术的重要性。
During the lecture, Ms. Yafei Zhang used the exemplary case of 30 Hudson Yards to provide a comprehensive insight into the implementation of the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) concept within the framework of renovating old cities through planning and design. This project stands as a prime example of Manhattan’s urban renaissance and revitalization of historic areas. Additionally, Ms. Yafei Zhang discussed the Bund Fosun Center/Art Mall as a relevant case study to elucidate the application of BIM technology in unconventional architectural design. Through these examples, she underscored the significance of advancing the widespread adoption and utilization of BIM technology.
张亚菲女士指出,公共交通导向型发展(TOD)是许多当代城市的主要发展模式,它创建了一个以铁路系统为中心的紧凑、适合步行、以行人为导向的混合功能社区。这使得人们可以在不完全依赖汽车的情况下生活,减低碳排放。
Ms. Zhang Yafei highlighted that transit-oriented development (TOD) stands as the primary development model for numerous modern cities. It fosters the creation of compact, walkable, and mixed-use communities that prioritize pedestrians and revolve around efficient railway systems. This approach enables individuals to lead car-independent lifestyles, effectively reducing carbon emissions.
与此同时,张亚菲女士表示,BIM技术的广泛应用能够实现建筑项目全过程的数字化管理,提高项目效率和质量,亦能减少资源浪费和环境污染,为可持续发展做出贡献。
Furthermore, Ms. Zhang emphasized the substantial benefits derived from the widespread implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. By facilitating digital project management throughout the entire construction process, BIM significantly enhances project efficiency and quality, while concurrently minimizing resource wastage and environmental pollution. Ultimately, such advancements contribute significantly to the pursuit of sustainable development.
在讲座的互动环节中,其他青年设计师也分享了建筑规划设计数字化技术手段的实践。在开放性问答讨论环节中,张亚菲女士就参数化设计、城市更新模式差异、低碳设计、AI辅助设计发展前景等与与会人员进行了深入探讨。随后,建筑规划设计院青年设计师段梦庆,分享了“以高速公路建筑为例,解读BIM正向设计的思路与方法”,从思考BIM正向设计的意义与流程,到实践中探索出一套行之有效的技术方法,完整的呈现了建筑规划设计院在BIM正向设计中的宝贵经验与未来规划。
During the interactive segment of the event, several young designers shared their experiences in utilizing digital technology within architectural planning and design. In the open question-and-answer session, Ms. Yafei Zhang engaged in profound discussions with participants, exploring topics such as parametric design, revitalization district design, low-carbon design, and the future prospects of AI-assisted design in the industry. Subsequently, Duan Mengqing from the Architectural Planning and Design Institute shared the idea and methods of interpreting BIM forward design using highway architecture as an example. From contemplating the significance and process of BIM forward design to exploring an effective set of technical methods in practice, the valuable experience and future planning of the Architectural Planning and Design Institute in BIM forward design were fully presented.
本次讲座与技术交流会在热情中开始,在热烈中结束;为青年设计师创造了一个深度对话的机会,并希望以此能拓延设计边界,立足创新融合,打造一个时尚、前沿、融合、创造的设计圈,为行业后续发展方向提供了新思路。
